Our Kiev Team

One of the unique features of our Kiev programme is that Professor Martha Dirnfeld and other members of the team will be in Kiev, actively involved in ensuring that that every aspect of your stay, and especially your treatment, is fully supervised and coordinated.

Senior Infertility Specialist

Professor Martha Dirnfeld MRCOG MSc PhD

 
Martha Dirnfeld is a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, trained at the Free University of Brussels and the Carmel Medical Centre in Haifa, Israel. Since 1985 she has been the founder and Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and IVF Division at the Carmel Medical Centre, affiliated to the Faculty of Medicine at the Technion.

Professor Dirnfeld spent a year at St Bartholomew's Hospital and was General Manager at Bridge in 2003-2004. She has more than 25 years of experience in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) and egg donation, has authored more than hundred scientific papers and chapters in books in the field of fertility and is an invited speaker to many international conferences. She is a member of the Committee of National Representatives at the European Society of Human Reproduction and Genetics (ESHRE). She is President of the Israeli Fertility Society (IFS).

Sharon has worked on the Kiev programme for over 5 years, coordinates patient treatment in the UK and accompanies each treatment visit to Kiev.

  • Do you consider yourself to have a disability? If yes, please describe how this might affect your attendance for a consultation or treatment at Bridge. Due to internal structural constraints we may ask wheelchair users to transfer to a lightweight wheelchair.

    The Bridge Centre is licensed by the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority to perform IVF, microsurgical fertilisations and treatments using donated eggs and sperm, to perform Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis and Screening and to store genetic material.
