The Bridge Egg Donor and

Recipient Programmes

Overview

We run a range of Egg Donation Programmes in the UK and overseas. There are waiting lists for UK treatment which vary in length according to the availability of donors but, if treatment is required urgently, our international programmes provide immediate access to suitable donors.

The Bridge International Egg Recipient Programmes have been carefully developed to provide the highest possible standards of care and treatment. They differ from other overseas programmes in many important ways and the key advantages are summarised below.

Treatment “as soon as possible” is one of our main objectives and treatment through any of the International Egg Recipient Programmes will normally take place within 2-4 months.

We run two major international programmes - in Ukraine and the USA.

We also support patients seeking treatment in Spain or elsewhere at the centre of their choice.

As the UK's most experienced centre for overseas egg donation, we will find the right programme for you.

The Bridge programmes are: -

Bridge International Egg Recipient Programme
Isida, Kiev, Ukraine

We believe that our Ukraine programme is the most comprehensive and fully-supported international programme available to UK recipients and success rates are high - 51% of participants have become parents in our Ukraine accompanied and fully supported programme.

Bridge International Egg Recipient Programme
GIVF, Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Our programmes in the USA give access to a very wide spectrum of donor characteristics and a number of different treatment options at different price points. Our results at GIVF in Washington are the best for any UK:USA programme.

Bridge UK Egg Donation Programme (with Active Donor Recruitment)

We work hard to find egg donors in the UK and you can beat the current shortage by taking active steps to find your own donor. We provide support at every stage.

Bridge UK Egg Sharing Programme

An active and successful programme which we are expanding in order to increase the opportunities for UK treatment.

A special note about treatment outside the UK - we can provide support for treatment anywhere

We advise patients against booking treatment overseas without the support of a licensed centre in the UK. We have a wealth of experience in dealing with centres all over the world and standards vary considerably.

In addition to our new programmes, we will support patients seeking treatment at a centre of their own choice - ask the team for more details.

  • Do you consider yourself to have a disability? If yes, please describe how this might affect your attendance for a consultation or treatment at Bridge. Due to internal structural constraints we may ask wheelchair users to transfer to a lightweight wheelchair.

The Bridge Centre is licensed by the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority to perform IVF, microsurgical fertilisations and treatments using donated eggs and sperm, to perform Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis and Screening and to store genetic material.
