I was fortunate that, after the 6 week scare when I thought I had miscarried, I had an excellent pregnancy and was fit and healthy throughout. I didn't put on a lot of weight so even at 7-8 months few people guessed I was pregnant. It came as a big surprise when we started telling people! I only stopped work two weeks before Claudia was born and had a quick (3 hour) labour and a normal delivery.
