Bridge Egg Recipient Programme
GIVF, Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Access to the largest pool of available known donors in the USA is one of the main advantages of choosing GIVF. This centre delivers the best results of any UK:USA joint programme.
The Genetics & IVF Institute (GIVF) in Washington is world-renowned for its pioneering work in infertility and genetics. GIVF has developed or perfected many of the treatments and techniques used today in other centres and works exclusively with Bridge to treat patients from the UK and Europe seeking access to GIVF’s unique pool of donor eggs.
GIVF offers the largest, immediately available pool of egg donors in the United States. This means that, once you have completed all the relevant screening tests, you will be able to start treatment immediately – with preparation in the UK and a simple 7-10 day visit to the USA.
A feature of the programme is the availability of a very wide choice of ethnic donors. GIVF also offers the most comprehensive available information about each donor – down to handwriting samples in most cases.
GIVF’s HQ and laboratory is located in Fairfax, Virginia, about 15 minutes from downtown Washington. GIVF celebrated 25 years of excellence in 2008.
Details of this programme are available from the Admissions Team. Call 020 7089 1449 for a full information pack.
Do you need a visa for the USA?
For most patients, visas will not be an issue, irrespective of the treatment location you choose.
However, it is increasingly the case that citizens of certain countries are finding visas increasingly difficult to obtain.
We can assist with visas and details are available from the Egg Donation Team. So, if you believe that you might encounter visa problems, contact us first as our advice is 'do not apply' if there is any possibility that you may be 'flagged' by the authorities.
